Life is often filled with times of joy and sorrow; sometimes, those moments of sorrow can become debilitating, and it can become incredibly challenging to find those moments of joy. My intention with therapy is to walk with you through those moments so we can work on finding those moments of joy, whether that be with you or alongside your relationship.

My approach to therapy is collaborative and eclectic, with trauma-informed care at the foundation of my work. I believe that some of the best growth in therapy comes from a supportive working relationship, which is what my clients can expect from me. I will work with you or your relationship to co-construct goals to guide your time in therapy. My integrative approach involves strengths-based, holistic approaches, polyvagal theory, and narrative therapy to help us gain and develop more insight into our emotions and experiences of situations within the world and our relationships. In my work with relationships, my approach consists of systematic and emotional family therapy, meaning I believe it's important to understand how every person within a relationship influences the other members, the role of emotions within these transactions, and how these interactions are contributing to your presenting concerns. I also have experience and training in working with dyads as well as polyamorous and consensually non-monogamous relationships.

These approaches and theories can get confusing when looking for a therapist; at the root of these approaches is an overall goal to work with you to learn what you envision for your time in therapy, and how we can work together to make this a collaborative and enriching experience for you. I offer both in-person and teletherapy for individuals seeking help, and in-person for individuals and relationships.

I accept Aetna & Cigna Insurances.
