LCSW | Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I believe that people are naturally resilient, possessing a deep well of inner strength. Every experience, past and present, is relevant to therapeutic work, and I strive to create a collaborative space to explore the things that weigh us all down. I approach each session with empathy, curiosity and an open mind, and encourage you to approach your own relationships, thoughts, and day-to-day life the same way.

My relational approach to therapy is strongly rooted in the psychodynamic tradition, bringing in narrative and mindfulness techniques to meet the specific needs of each person. I’m here to help you explore things that might be difficult, or examine specific goals or concerns. I encourage feedback and honesty, and welcome humor into the room and work (when appropriate).

I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, helping patients and clients gain insight into a wide variety of issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, sexuality, gender identity and expression, trauma, and relationships. My focus thus far has been on individual therapy, but I would welcome the opportunity to work with couples.

Therapy can offer a way to navigate these uncertain times in a way that makes life feel safer, more manageable, and more enjoyable, and I’m here to help you develop the tools you need to do so in a trusting environment.
