About Me
I am a therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate loss, life transitions, depression, identity formation and family of origin issues.
Drawing on training in family systems theory, attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, I take an eclectic and flexible approach tailored to each client’s needs. Whether through art, “parts work,” or other therapeutic techniques, my goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to make lasting change.
I like to think of therapy as a mix of honesty and compassion. I’ll be in your corner, but I’ll also nudge you when I think it could help. Humor often makes its way into sessions, and when it feels right, spirituality does too. Above all, I want therapy to feel like a safe space where all parts of you are welcome. My work is grounded in antiracist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and feminist values. Above all, I strive to help clients work through difficult emotions, heal past wounds, and move toward a more connected, content, and fulfilling life.
Specialties
● Adoption Support: As an adoptee, I bring both personal insight and professional training to my work with the adoption community. I help clients explore the complex issues tied to adoption—including grief, identity, and belonging—and support all members of the adoption triad. This includes adoptees, birth parents, and adoptive parents.
● Couples Counseling: I work with couples to strengthen communication, deepen intimacy, and address the impact of family of origin issues. My approach fosters not only healthier relationships but also individual growth and healing.
A Little More About Me
Outside of work, I’m a single mom by choice to a college - aged daughter. I enjoy visiting art museums, going for walks, and exploring spiritual practices that bring me meaning and balance.
