My work with clients is a collaborative partnership in which cultivating connection is a central component.

Therapy with me a place where we identify and reduce barriers on your path, while we lean into your strengths and goals to process experiences and build capacity and skills. Initially trained as a trauma-informed cognitive-behavioral therapist, I have expanded and shifted my work to integrate emotions-focused modalities and relational and systems approaches. This multi-dimensional method allows us to fully understand your experience and more precisely meet your needs as you pursue the change you’d like to make.

I am also trained and certified in exposure and response prevention (ERP) for the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and am currently pursuing more extensive training in this area to address other presentations on the OCD spectrum. If you’re interested in working together to address OCD, treatment with ERP will effectively structure our sessions and the time between to help develop new critical learning and eliminate compulsions.

My approach is strongly client-centered, utilizing evidence-based interventions that enhance empowerment, learning, and expanded perspectives that lead to tangible positive change in the spirit of collaboration, compassion, and curiosity. Together these elements reduce barriers to wellness while offering effective pathways toward sustainable improvement. I specialize in strengths-based counseling, motivation building toward goals that are important to you, and a mindfulness method adapted to meet you where you are.
