Hey, hi, and welcome – I’m glad you’re here.

There is no “wrong” time or reason to reach out for help; we all begin our journeys at different points in our lives and for different reasons. Whether you need help navigating a difficult period in your life, want to learn more about yourself and your relationships, or are looking to make some type of change, I am honored and excited to work with you.

I believe that the most important quality in a therapist is their ability to listen, and I strive to create a space in which you feel seen, accepted, celebrated, and safe. I use a collaborative, person-centered approach that incorporates narrative therapy, somatic (body-focused) techniques, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and EMDR. I operate under the assumption that you are the expert in your own life – my role is to work with you to explore your goals and how we can reach them together.

I work with both individuals and couples (age 18+) and primarily work with anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, sexual dysfunction, and gender and sexuality exploration. While sessions will look different depending on your specific goals, I love working with clients to explore and strengthen their mind-body connection to re-establish a sense of safety in their body, developing and practicing new problem-solving skills and coping strategies, and examining how we interpret situations to make meaning in our lives. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy; I’m always happy to tweak my style to better suit your needs, and we’ll work together to figure out what works best for you.

Outside of the counseling room, I’m a lover of both live music and yoga. I like to spend my free time listening to podcasts, trying new recipes, and trying to keep my cats from eating my houseplants. I use both she/her and they/them pronouns.
