Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention Group

Mindfulness-based relapse prevention (MBRP) is an evidence-based approach to addressing substance use that combines mindfulness practices into traditional relapse prevention strategies. This 8-week group is appropriate for individuals who are hoping to reduce their substance use and/or maintain abstinence.

The group offers a nonjudgmental and validating space to explore new ways to navigate cravings and other challenges related to substance use. Together, we will increase awareness of the connection among the body, mind, and your behaviors, while developing  a new way to relate to discomfort and increase self-compassion.

Individuals will engage in mindfulness practices during group sessions and will be encouraged to practice between sessions. Through these practices, group members will learn how to respond in difficult moments in ways that better align with their goals.

This virtual group will be facilitated by:

Kyra Bevenour on Thursdays 5:30-7pm

This group accepts Aetna, Cigna, IBX, & Private Pay. The private pay rate is $65/session.
