I truly believe that everyone has the capacity to grow when they’re in a space that feels safe and accepting. At the heart of my work is building a genuine, trusting connection with you, because real healing begins when you feel seen, heard, understood, and accepted.
You might be someone who has spent much of your life showing up for others while quietly feeling unsure of your own needs, voice, or direction. At times, you may feel stuck or overwhelmed when it comes to making changes in your own life. Together, we’ll create a warm and welcoming space where vulnerability is embraced and self-exploration feels comfortable. Above all, I’m here to hold space for you with kindness and openness, honoring your unique experiences and hopes for the future.
Specializations
I’m especially passionate about supporting adults who grew up in environments where emotional needs may not have been fully seen, understood, or supported.
These early experiences can shape how you relate to yourself and others, showing up as people-pleasing, difficulty with boundaries, self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from who you are. They often become more noticeable during life changes, when you’re asked to make decisions, redefine yourself, or step into something new, leaving you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain.
Together, we’ll work to better understand these patterns, heal from early experiences, reconnect with your authentic voice, clarify what truly matters to you, and create a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and aligned. I work with clients ages 16+ to navigate challenges with:
Childhood relational trauma & unmet emotional needs
Relationship patterns, trust, people-pleasing, guilt, and boundaries
Exploring identity, values, & sense of self
Feeling stuck, enmeshed, or unsure of who you are
Shame, self-doubt, & indecisiveness
Life transitions & emerging adulthood
Grief & loss
Anxiety, depression, & low self-worth
Emotional regulation & distress tolerance
Could We be a Good Fit?
Clients who benefit most from our work are often thoughtful, reflective, and open to growth. They value building a strong, collaborative relationship that supports a balance of depth and lightness, sometimes incorporating humor into our sessions, and are willing to try small steps between sessions to support meaningful change. I also welcome creative interests into our work together, helping us build a space that feels engaging, supportive, and uniquely yours. I’ve noticed that adolescents and young adults often feel especially comfortable and connected in our time together.
Therapeutic Approaches
At the foundation of my approach is the therapeutic relationship, a safe space to explore patterns, build trust, and practice new ways of connecting. Guided by attachment theory and polyvagal-informed approaches, I rely most often on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to keep our work flexible and tailored to your needs, within a trauma-informed and person-centered framework. Together, we’ll embrace you as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms, and welcome all parts of you as we work toward meaningful, authentic change.
My hope is that you find a space in therapy that feels human and welcoming. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect and explore how we can work together to support your growth.
I accept Aetna, Cigna, Highmark, United/Optum, Quest, & IBX insurances.
