Offering Telehealth & In-Person Therapy in Northern Liberties

When it comes to our lives and sense of self, our inner wisdom can become drowned out by the noise of circumstance and context. Therapy is a journey that allows us to hear that wisdom again (or for the first time) and ultimately, (re) connect to ourselves. It is a space where we can explore the different parts of ourselves, befriending and harmonizing with our inner characters, thus bringing our inner world into better alignment so that we can find peace in our external world. Therapy is also a site in which we learn to create and foster more harmony within our relationships, partnerships, and larger communities.

I am a relational therapist, meaning I find the therapeutic relationship itself to be the site of deep healing and transformation. When we are invited to be our true selves and are accepted wholeheartedly, we can tap into our inner wisdom. I utilize a variety of modalities and frameworks to meet my clients’ needs, including mindfulness, self-compassion, existentialism, parts work, attachment theory, somatics, and liberation psychology.

I have a background in community organizing and social justice/anti-carceral work. Having lived and worked in Latin America and the Middle East, I am passionate about working with adults and teens from all different walks of life who are dealing with major life transitions, identity exploration/changes, PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, attachment wounds, substance use, LGBTQIA+, women’s issues, men’s issues, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, infertility and grief and loss.

I accept Aetna, Cigna, Highmark, Quest, & IBX Insurances.
