Shayna Lehmann
Intern | Pursining a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Hello, my name is Shayna! I am a Master’s level intern pursuing my degree and working under supervision towards my practicum hours.
I’m dedicated to creating a warm, comforting, and supportive space where you can feel truly heard and understood. I want to meet you where you are with compassion and curiosity, tailoring our sessions to your day-to-day needs while working towards your goals. Building trust and making therapy approachable is very important to me. I believe therapy is collaborative, where you and I can work together at your comfort level to help you develop deeper insight, understand your emotions, and make meaningful change. I’m here to walk alongside you as we work towards your goals, explore challenges, and build on your strengths. You are the expert of your own story! I’m committed to liberation and advocacy, my priority being to provide a safe space for people of all identities, backgrounds, and experiences.
I work with young adults, adults, and couples who are experiencing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, identity exploration, family conflict and dynamics, and life transitions. I take on an eclectic and holistic approach to therapy, combining Contextual Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Schema Therapy. By integrating multiple different techniques, I can meet you where you are and support you on your healing journey.
