“Life doesn’t get better by chance; it gets better with change.”
Everyone, no matter how stuck you may feel, is capable of change. It’s not too late! I know change might feel impossible right now, especially if you are feeling weighed down by trauma, guilt or shame about the past, unhealthy patterns that you just can’t seem to shake, or just feeling stuck on where to start. And yet, I believe you can learn, grow, and yes, even change.
Together, we can work to unlearn unhealthy patterns, heal from past hurt, identify and re-align to core values, and improve regulation of emotions. I believe you can be capable of dealing with life on life’s terms and find purpose in all areas of life. It’s never too late to change, and I’m so excited to help you along this journey.
I take a holistic approach to therapy, based around your unique needs and goals, integrating techniques and strategies from a range of modalities (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, and somatic therapy), to help you build resilience and achieve long-term wellness. You are the expert on your life and experiences, and I’m here to create a supportive space without judgment, where we collaborate every step of the way.
Areas of focus: Trauma (developmental, generational, religious, racial, relational), Complex trauma, Emotional healing, Personality disorders, Mood disorders (bipolar disorder, depression), Anxiety disorders, Recovery and harm reduction, Emotion regulation, Identity exploration, Self-esteem/Self-acceptance, Life transitions, Chronic pain
