LAPC | Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (In Supervision toward Clinical Licensure)
As a Queer, Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University, I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, explore their emotions, and develop strategies to thrive, while normalizing emotional responses and reinforcing that all feelings are valid and part of the human journey.
I have experience working with people facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, and LGBTQIA+ and relationship issues. I understand how these struggles can show up: racing or overwhelming thoughts, feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to break, or questioning where you are in life and where you're headed. My focus is on helping clients build emotional understanding and resilience, while supporting them in achieving lasting growth. With a strong background in working with the college population, I have supported client during a significant period of personal exploration and growth.
I view therapy as a collaborative and transformative process. Drawing from Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), my approach is centered on helping clients understand and work with their emotions in a constructive way.
I look forward to working with you via telehealth or in-person in one of the Philadelphia Locations (Fishtown, Northern Liberties, or Society Hill).
I accept Aetna, Cigna, Highmark, & IBX insurances.
