Welcome. By viewing this profile, I hope you can begin giving yourself permission to slow down, reflect, and simply exist as you are. Many people move through life feeling constantly "on," overwhelmed by expectations, responsibilities, uncertainty, or emotional exhaustion. Therapy offers an opportunity to step out of that cycle and reconnect with yourself in a more grounded and intentional way.

As a therapist, I consider it a privilege to create a safe, affirming space where you can explore your experiences openly and without judgment. What growth looks like is deeply personal and shaped by your unique lived experience. Sometimes therapy focuses on building practical skills to navigate difficult emotions, thoughts, or behaviors. Other times it involves understanding how your past continues to influence the present, strengthening relationships, clarifying your values, or creating a more intentional path forward. More often than not, meaningful change comes from a combination of all of these processes.

Over the years, I have found myself particularly drawn to working with individuals navigating relational trauma, attachment wounds, emotional manipulation, gaslighting, and parentification. These experiences often leave people questioning their own perceptions, struggling to trust themselves, and feeling uncertain about how to move forward. Whether your goal is rebuilding self-trust after difficult relationships, managing OCD or ADHD, coping with chronic illness, or navigating a major life transition, my aim is to help you cultivate greater flexibility, resilience, and confidence in your ability to navigate life's uncertainties.

I often describe therapy through the metaphor of climbing a mountain. The beginning of the journey can feel intimidating, uncertain, or emotionally exhausting. Our work together is collaborative—I provide support, perspective, encouragement, and practical tools while helping you navigate the terrain at your own pace. Along the way, I may encourage you to pause and look back at how far you've come while also recognizing how much closer you are to the life you're working toward.

My therapeutic style exists at the intersection of relational, humanistic, and acceptance-based approaches. I integrate DBT skills, mindfulness, existential therapy, and experiential techniques while tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.

I am deeply interested in understanding how people navigate uncertainty and the experiences that make uncertainty difficult to tolerate—particularly relational trauma, attachment wounds, and experiences that erode self-trust. This curiosity has led me to develop a conceptual framework called the Ambimism Framework, with Ambimistic Counseling serving as the conceptual hub for its ongoing development. The framework seeks to integrate established therapeutic approaches into a cohesive model for understanding human suffering, mapping interventions, navigating uncertainty, strengthening self-trust, and cultivating greater psychological flexibility.

In addition to individual and couples work, I am actively involved in developing and facilitating group therapy services at River Wards. My current offerings include the Narcissistic Abuse Group, Chronic Pain Support Group, Existential Dread/Being Human Group, ADHD Support Group, Afternoon DBT Skills Group, and DBT for Couples. I am passionate about the unique opportunities groups provide for connection, skill-building, shared learning, and personal growth. I am also actively collaborating with fellow River Wards Wellness Collective therapists to expand our group offerings and create new opportunities for clients to connect, learn, and heal in community.I offer individual teletherapy and facilitate a DBT skills group through teletherapy.
