Jessica Luchtel
LSW | Licensed Social Worker (In Supervision toward clinical licensure with Deanna Ingle)
I am a licensed social worker who provides compassionate, individualized mental health counseling to adolescents and young adults. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, grief and loss, self-esteem, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship challenges, and the impact of difficult or traumatic experiences.
My clinical experience includes providing individual counseling to adolescents and young adults in private practice, as well as supporting high school students through individual and group counseling and social-emotional learning. These experiences have strengthened my passion for creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I believe that each person brings their own unique experiences, strengths, personality, and goals to therapy, and I work alongside my clients to develop an approach that feels comfortable and meaningful to them. I incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques while remaining flexible to each client's individual needs. I also welcome humor, authenticity, and the unique qualities that make each client who they are. I believe therapy can be a space to have difficult conversations while still allowing room for laughter, connection, and being yourself.
Above all, I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients can be their authentic selves, explore challenges at their own pace, and develop the skills and confidence needed to move toward a more fulfilling life.
I accept Aetna, Cigna, & IBX insurances.
