Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming. Maybe you're feeling stuck, caught in racing thoughts, overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating a major life transition, questioning your identity, struggling in relationships, or wondering why the things that used to bring you joy no longer do. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone.
My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, accepted, and understood; a space where you can bring your whole self, even the parts that feel messy, uncertain, or difficult to share. I see myself as a compass and companion in therapy. While you choose the direction of your journey, I'll help you slow down, notice patterns, deepen your understanding of yourself, and reconnect with the values that matter most to you. Together, we'll build a relationship grounded in warmth, authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. We'll make room for laughter when it feels right and approach life's harder moments with kindness rather than judgment.
I enjoy working with adults navigating life transitions, professionals experiencing stress and burnout, women, parents, and neurodivergent individuals. I frequently work with concerns including anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, perfectionism, self-esteem, identity exploration, emotion regulation, family conflict, relationship challenges, and feeling lost or disconnected from yourself.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection, with ourselves, with others, and within the therapeutic relationship. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or emotions, we'll work toward building a life that feels meaningful and authentic, even when life is challenging.
My work is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), relational and attachment-based perspectives, and draws from other evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to meet your unique needs.
I accept Aetna, Cigna, Highmark, United/Optum, Quest, & IBX insurances.
I am available for in-person sessions as well as teletherapy.
