Managing Anxiety During Life Transitions in Young Adulthood

8-Week Support & Processing Group

Wednesdays, 6 to 7 pm

Hosted by Lauren Kairys and Melanie Susskind Suttow

There are a seemingly endless number of changes that occur during early adulthood - and often an equally endless amount of stress and anxiety that accompany these changes. If you are struggling with feelings of anxiety or worry during a life transition, such as adjusting to a new career, navigating changes in relationships, altering roles in your family system, or struggling with your sense of identity after a life transition, this group aims to provide a space for you to connect with other young and emerging adults as you navigate these transitions.

In this process group, individuals will explore the unique stressors and concerns that arise in early adulthood, learn about and practice different coping strategies for anxiety, and examine the role anxiety plays in your life. Group members will have the opportunity to both provide and receive support and encouragement in addition to learning valuable coping skills.

If you have Aetna or Cigna, please check with your insurance about group therapy coverage as each insurance plan is unique in their coverage. If you do not have one of those providers, the out of pocket rate is $65/session.
