Being Human in the 21st Century
Many people today are carrying a sense of unease—feelings of overwhelm, disconnection, or quiet dread that can come from living in a fast-moving, uncertain world. If you find yourself grappling with big questions about meaning, identity, relationships, safety, or the future, or feeling alone in these experiences, this therapeutic group offers a supportive and welcoming space to slow down and reflect together. You don't need to have the right words or answers—just a willingness to show up and be human alongside others.
Together, we'll explore the emotional challenges of modern life, including existential anxiety, media fatigue, uncertainty, guilt, identity, and the pressures of navigating an increasingly complex world. The group emphasizes thoughtful conversation, shared experience, and practical therapeutic skills to help participants stay engaged with life without becoming overwhelmed by it.
Throughout the nine sessions, members will explore healthier ways to engage with uncertainty, reconnect with personal values, strengthen relationships and community, and cultivate greater resilience in the face of change. Rather than searching for certainty, we'll focus on developing flexibility, perspective, and meaningful ways of moving forward.
This group may be a good fit for adults who feel overwhelmed by the state of the world, struggle with hopelessness, isolation, or information overload, or are simply looking for a space to explore what it means to be human in the 21st century alongside others.
