“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” -Viktor Frankl

Hi, I am Kaylie (she/they). I am a queer clinician passionate about creating a safe, affirming space where you can explore your identity, navigate coming out, and feel deeply seen in your queer experience. Supporting the LGBTQ+ community isn’t just part of my work; it’s at the heart of why I became a therapist.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, and I specialize in supporting neurodivergent people, including those with autism and ADHD. My goal is to help you build practical skills to navigate a world that often isn’t designed with your needs in mind, while also creating space to process the frustration, grief, and emotional complexity that can come with that.

I believe that building trust, safety, and connection is essential to the therapeutic process. I strive to make therapy approachable, collaborative, and grounded in your everyday life. Some days we dive deep; other days, we just focus on getting through the week. I tailor each session to meet you where you are. I also believe that therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy. Humor, joy, and moments of lightness can be just as healing as working through the tough stuff.

I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), with a focus on mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), existentialism, and feminist therapy into my work. Additionally, I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a trauma treatment that helps target and heal the roots of distressing memories.

At the core of my work is the belief that change happens when we feel accepted for who we are and reconnect with our core values and selves. My approach is trauma-informed, emotion-focused, and person-centered, rooted in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration.

Whether you're exploring your identity, managing anxiety or depression, healing from trauma, or seeking support as a neurodivergent person, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll face challenges, develop meaningful coping tools, and celebrate your wins, big and small.

Areas of Focus: LGBTQIA+, DBT, CBT, EMDR, Neurodiversity, Identity Exploration
